Finalmente potro' scegliere: giocarsi "tutto".
Eppure sono tranquillo. Perchè so che trovero' un altro modo
per non farmi andare bene le cose.
Si che potro' dire:
ci ho provato
e daro' valore a cose poco importanti.
Tra altri 4 anni
avro' dimenticato e ci ricaschero'
e passero' le mie ore
a fantasticare su progetti stupendi
senza mai arrivare al pratico.
semplicemente
una questione di lavoro
una svolta
quale svolta?
dove tutti arrivano e sembrano voler stare.
Young Widows have the X factor, a je ne sais quoi. The sound is brooding and sinister, evoking bleakness and alienation with ease. At the same time, the songwriting is super tight and thoughtful - compositionally this band is miles ahead of most other noise rock/alternative rock outfits. If you liked Deftones' Gore and would like to listen to it done right, check out this compilation. Amazing group. Cosmographer
Classic emo sing-a-longs trade blows with tormented post-hardcore passages on the Brooklyn outfit's powerful sophomore LP. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 3, 2024
Strange and angsty alternative rock from Los Angeles that hovers between haunting and pretty and sharp and driving. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 27, 2023
This one also took me a while to get into. It strikes me as less HC than Untitled and less poppy than Ultrapop (stupid I know). Let's call this the No Wave record. Its musical (and amusical) density is matching the persistent sound in my head right now. barnaby nygren
